Staring far into the distance

My thoughts drifting away

To a place where I can be with you

Where we can talk, where we can hold each other
A safe place just for you and me

By the sound of the phone I get back into reality

It feels like you have been taken away from me once again

I’m wondering if you even know how much I cared for you

I feel my heart breaking into tiny pieces

Overwhelmed by emotions I try to go back to that place

So I can be with you till the end of time
